SUICIDE PREVENTION LINE
CALL OR TEXT 988. A national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24/7 throughout the U.S. via phone call, text messaging, or online chat.
SEXUAL ASSAULT & CRISIS
CALL(800) 656-4673. RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country.
CRISIS TEXT LINE
Text "HELLO" to 741741. Crisis Text Line provides free, 24/7 mental health support via text message. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds quickly, helping you move from a hot moment to a cool calm to stay safe and healthy using effective active listening and suggested referrals – all through text message, using Crisis Text Line’s secure platform.
CRISIS & SUICIDE PREVENTION
CALL 1-800-843-5200 or TEXT . The California Coalition for Youth (CCY) advocates for public policies, programs and services that respect, empower and protect the rights of all youth.
LGBTQ SUPPORT
Call 1-800-246-7743. Hours: Monday through Friday from 1 PM -9 PM (PST); Saturdays from 9 AM- 2 PM (PST)
SEXUAL ASSAULT & CRISIS
CALL (213) 626-3393. The Los Angeles Rape and Battering hotline is a confidential non-judgmental resource where staff and volunteers are available to provide emotional support, advocacy, information and referrals. If you or someone you care about has been a victim of sexual assault, domestic violence or intimate partner stalking, please call our 24 hour crisis line.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Call (800) 799-7233 or text "START" to 88788. This hotline provides resources, crisis support, and information on domestic violence and intimate partner abuse.
SUBSTANCE USE
CALL 1-800-662-4757. This is run by the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration. This is a is a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year, information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders. This service provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations.

LOCAL NON-PROFITS

Peace Over Violence is a non-profit, feminist; multicultural, volunteer organization dedicated to a building healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual, domestic and interpersonal violence. Based in Los Angeles with a branch in Pasadena, they offer services to survivor’s of sexual assault and domestic violence, including free individual therapy, group therapy, access to social workers, and more. I was fortunate to begin my training in psychotherapy at this organization, and it holds a special place in my own heart!

The Los Angeles LGBT Center is a phenomenal organization that provides a huge range of services for folx in the LGBTQ+ community, including therapy, support groups, psychiatry, and more. They are a big organization with over 800 employees and several locations across the greater LA basin.
